Description

Marble Springs State Historic Site will host an Open Hearth Cooking Workshop Saturday, March 3, starting at 9:30am. This hands-on workshop will teach visitors about open hearth cooking methods of the 18th and 19th-centuries. Participants will be broken into teams that will create different portions of the meal to be served at the conclusion of the workshop.

This workshop is limited to 10 participants – a waiting list will be established, if necessary.

Reservations are required & must be made no later than Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

Fee: $10 per person; $5 for GJSMA members. Parking is free.

All activities take place at the Marble Springs State Historic Site: 1220 West Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
